about

The Sea was Screaming is a work of cognition-reflective sound that interacts with the listener’s thoughts and experiences.

New perceptions are created in the mind as sound converses with memory. Field recordings of people and nature are slowed to explore the micro rhythms and fluctuations that punctuate, scatter and solidify time in our experience. Recordings of electromagnetic radiation and underwater spaces explore hidden senses outside of our awareness.

The music is also a window to outside environments. Sutures left in the sounds leave an entry for the sonic and other senses outside the speakers to participate. It is a work that acts as a perceptual counsellor to explore the inside and outside of a mind.

Released under Field Noise Records. An mp3 download is available for free from the album page fieldnoiserecords.com/the-sea-was-screaming/

『The Sea Was Screaming』は認知の鏡であるアルバム。
